with the help of Mucinex, I’m finally cured of my piglet flu, though I still have a pretty nasty cough, and if I breath really hard, I can feel it a-rattlin’ in my chest, so I suppose I could still pass off as sick, haha. you might have noticed that I added a new layout. this one took three hours and a lot of listening to the Deadmau5 pandora station, which helped a lot, haha. it’s a new style—I’ve always wanted to do vectors, but I’m really no good at them (I fail at splats as well, if you didn’t know), but I’m really happy with the way it turned out. you can see the original work, before I layout-ified it, on my deviantarthere.
also, as you can see, I got to installing BellaBuzz, so now you can ask me questions, and I can (hopefully) answer them. it was a pretty simple install, too, and I’m fairly confident that it works, haha. you can ask by either clicking the link above, or the ‘ask & faq’ link on the links section, to the farrrr left.
so, the piglet flu still has a stranglehold on my sinuses, which can’t be a good thing. I took some Mucinex and had a really nice nap today, though, so there’s a good chance I’ll be going to school tomorrow. with my sick-made free time today, I cleaned out the affiliates section, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody, as my affie list was getting too long. I removed broken links, or sites that had quit or moved, and all affiliates that I listed that didn’t have me linked back. probably due to my inactivity, so they can’t be blamed.
today I added another imagepack. I was kind of at a loss for what to do, but the picture frames imagepack had worked out so well, and the fact that I started seeing polaroid frames in a lot of graphics, I went ahead and cut those out as fresh stock.
I’ve picked up a new term for the thing that’s kept me out of school for the past couple days. piglet flu—it’s like the swine flu, you feel probably just as crappy, but you don’t get all the helpful antibiotics. honestly, it’s just the worst cold ever, and I’m totally living with it. luckily, my parents got home today with chinese food and Mucinex, but honestly, I know I had a sneezing fit that was like… 10 in a row!
I was really happy to be able to sit down today at my computer and get some site stuff done. I advertised a bit and cut a few psds. when I get in the psd-cutting mood I always end up doing five or six and only adding three to the site, because for some reason I always feel like some of them didn’t turn out quite right.

one of the psds I cut was of the guy from Owl City. my friend Ryan had “Fireflies” on a cd in his car, and I don’t really like the song THAT much, but for some reason I just can’t get it out of my head. it’s like death cab + hellogoodbye, both of which I really like.
anyway, I’m gonna try to wait out this piglet flu, and I’m gussing I’ll be up to the same tomorrow if it keeps up.
okay, I’ll be honest. I don’t have the best excuse in the world for totally disappearing for a month, except for the fact that school is absolutely killing me. usually it would be like, I’d come home and make something really quick and post it on the site, or get inspired and do something before bed, but lately that just wasn’t happening.
my schedule is basically killing me; I mean by anybody’s standards only 3 AP classes isn’t that bad, considering what I’m planning on doing junior year, but I’m lazy and used to not having to push myself and just skipping a bunch of assignments, which is what I haven’t been doing… and I have the grades to show it!
however, I’m grounded this weekend (semi-grounded, it’s hard to explain), and I finally got inspired and made this layout ft. Dita Von Tesse (she married Marilyn Mason—basically I just chose a random psd from the site), and it’s pretty intense, but I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
