I’ve been really busy lately. we just got a new puppy. her name is RZA (pronounced rizz-uh, like from the Wu Tang Clan), she’s a german shorthaired pointer, which is basically like a dalmation with brown spots instead, and she’s so sweet… but keeping me ultra busy.
I still managed to add those two petpages with the guys from ATL. thought yall might like them ;)

I had a fairly exciting day today. since school is coming up, I needed a new canvas tote and made a quick stop at the mall to get one from American Eagle; it turns out it was justttt the right day to shop there, too, because I got a free t-shirt just for buying something. it’s fairly cute, nothing special, and I saw some super-cute bags there that I wanted, but they wouldn’t have fit my books, they were more like purses I guess.
speaking of preparing for school, I have so much AP homework to get done it’s not even funny. I have a 5 p. essay for AP Gov and 3 essays for AP US History, so there’s not going to be any fun happening with me in the next couple of days. why did I wait til the end of summer?! D: I’m getting this update it at 11:24 PM after just getting home from a show, I managed to get in the door and put together a this stamp set, which has some neat drip stamps, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen a full set of, so you’d better get them HERE. NOW. haha.
also, I have yet another new hostee. I’d like to welcome tabitha @ oparade.go-scarecrow.net to the sidebar; her site is orchestra parade and she’s absolutely innnncredible (just like my other hostees), so please give her a well-deserved click.

oh man! what to say about the last few days? It seems like my summer has either been a blasty-blast or a lot of sitting at home, but I’ve really enjoyed getting out of the house, going to shows and the park, and breaking out of the normal routine that I started my summer in. It also leaves me with a lot more free time (somehow), which I’ve been using to update the site soooo much.
I got my schedule today. it looks really good and thanks to facebook I found out who I have my classes with, which was cool. my only problem is that I have my math class AND AP Biology first thing in the morning, which should be (but hopefully won’t be) the worstttttt. anyway; updates: I added a couple grunge brushes, which weren’t so hard to make. since I did that I’m thinking I might move on to splatter brushes if I can find the right way to do it—we’ll just have to wait and see. definitely check those brushes out though, I’m really proud of the way they turned out.
also, I have another hostee opening their site. alexa @ craven.go-scarecrow.net. she’s worked reeeeeally hard learning how to use ftp, php, and everything like that, as well as putting up graphics, and her content is AWESOME, so it definitely deserves a look:

so basically I will be really disappointed/sad if you don’t check out that layout tutorial, because it’s the longest tutorial I’ve ever made, and was a lot of work, so someone has to use it. haha. just kidding. I’m actually really proud of myself for making one that extensive, and I really like the finished product. so much, in fact, that I turned it into a web layout—so that’s pretty cool. I think so, at least.

so I had day that was both eventful and uneventful yesterday. I ended up meeting my friend Max at the park, hanging out there (bored) for a couple hours, and then going to a show. we didn’t even think we were going, but I saw it on my phone’s calendar, and was like, welll—we have nothing better to do. so we walked allllll the way to this little venue downtown (the one I helped paint) and saw a couple hardcore bands.
I really love shows cause you get to meet new people and such, and since Max and I have been going there so much, the owners have become friends, and both of them (they’re a couple) proceeded to beat me in foozeball. when I get my own place, I’m getting a foozeball table so I can practice… haha.
with my new slew of hostees, I’ve been busy helping set up fanupdate for them, and though I know there are a lot of tutorials on that, I decided to make my own while it was fresh in my head… I think it’s pretty comprehensive, but you can tell me what you think.

I’ve been getting pretty serious with updates lately; after updating the visitor index with descriptions, I realized the tutorial index was starting to look PRETTY MESSY with all the links on it, so I did the same thing.
once I did that, though, I realized that there was a lot of scrolling involved in getting to which section you wanted, so I added page anchors as well so you can click to a different part of the tutorials index (PSP, PS, GIMP, and coding). after that I felt pretty accomplished, but NOT. ACCOMPLISHED. ENOUGH.
I really liked the idea I had for image packs, and I noticed that quite a few people had been using like, real cutouts of flowers in their layouts so I went stock-searching and found a few to my liking that I cut out. not so hard, and I saw some incredible flower pictures while doing it. soyeah. you can download them here:

so basically, these last couple weeks, I’ve been pretty lax on updating the site; like, a layout here and maybe a stamp set, but recently I’ve had sort of a creative frenzy and feel like I need to ‘fix it up’ a bit and add some REAL fresh content.
so, packs of cigarettes, many local shows, and a lot of crazy remixes later, I cleaned up the visitor index page and added descriptions to it, which I was told makes it make “a lot more sense”; I also added something that I’ve been wanting to add for a long time, which is a page full of site names.

my long absence has been due to a lot of paisley in my life, so I figured that it was only right to make a stamp set deticated to it:
