

to start out, I'm going to be using this image of Hannah Beth. you can use your own if you'd like, or mine for practice.
before we start the reflection, first we need to make the image more interesting.
duplicate your original a few times, because we'll be going back to it.
start by making a gradient. use 4cc87e as the foreground and e7a945 as the background, in a new layer. make the gradient go diagonally across the image from green at the top left to orange at the bottom right. set the layer to darken only at 100%.
merge this image and paste it into a duplicate of the original as a new layer. don't paste it directly on top, make the layer offset just slightly.

set it to color at 100% and merge the layers.
take one of your duplicates of the original, and paste it as a new layer onto this image. offset it, then set it to overlay at 100% opacity. your image should look like this:

with the top layer selected, begin to erase over Hannah so that you can't see the overlap. when you're finished, it should look something like this:

crop your image, add some borders and some text, and you're done.
